Foras

Foras is the first proper album I made, and it’s a journey to a variety of quite different genres: Epic, Funk, Electronic, or Post-Rock, always with a strong Celtic Folk influence. Featuring instruments like Irish whistles, uilleann pipes, fiddle, or bouzouki.

While previous works were more of an aimless experimentation, I used Foras to set some kind of foundation for my music. A way to say, “This is what I do. I’ll be evolving from now on, and this is the starting point.”

The Celtic Room

The Celtic Room is a compilation of some of my initial works that I put together and released into an album.

The idea came from a busking trip that I was going to make, and I realized I had no CDs to sell in the street. I burned this track compilation into some blank CDs using my old computer, my sister Mireia made this really cool cover art, and then I hit the road!

Feadóg Mhór

Feadóg Mhór is a 2D animated short film I made as the final project of my degree. It’s the story of a cursed flute and a pointy eared fellow that hears a mysterious call coming from the woods.

Years after making the short film and the soundtrack, I decided to release them both. But the quality of the sound was not up-to-date, as I was more of a beginner when I did this. So I re-recorded some instruments, re-mixed and re-mastered the tracks, and that’s what you can hear today!

Quantum Spirals

Quantum Spirals is a song I made for my partner when we were starting our relationship.

It was a way to experiment with different genres, and the result is something that is the opposite of cohesive. But I don’t think cohesion is a must-have in music, or in art, for that matter. Just a thing you can either go for or not. I hear this after so many years, and it’s like the song is telling me a lot of different things, going through different moods… Same as an album does, but in the shape of one track. The quality of the mix sounds aged to me, but I’m still happy with it!
